We are able to rework existing lawns that could use some TLC, or establish a brand new lawn. Each lawn is different and will require different materials to accomplish the desired outcome. We bring in locally sourced, quality topsoil to create a base for the seeding. The amount of topsoil will be dependent on what your budget allows for but ideally you will want a 6” base. The skidsteer and power-rake is then used to level and disperse the topsoil evenly, whilst pulling up any debris (rocks and sticks). The debris is conveniently left in piles at the end of each pass and removed before seeding.
Once the lawn is graded and levelled, we seed it using a drill seeder. We source our premium seed from an Ontario-based company. Because the seed that we use is a mixture, it germinates at different rates. Under ideal conditions you can expect the seed to germinate between 2 weeks to 1 month, with a full luscious lawn in 2 months.
